Dustin Schirer

Dustin's first glimpse into the world of advertising was from the vantage point of his two favorite TV uncles: Full House’s Joey and Jessie. Inspired by the notion that people could actually make a living by creating the very ads that shaped his most vivid childhood memories, he was smitten.

Cutting his teeth editing weekly content in the early days of Youtube, Dustin developed a keen sense of timing and succinct storytelling. As a director, he uses that background as a base. Visualizing the end piece in order to choreograph camera operators and talent to weave together engaging and genuinely endearing work.

Dustin has been with Barkley for ten years now. In that time, he has built an unstoppable team of creators, artists, fun-seekers, hustlers, taco eaters, and overall, people who genuinely love the craft of bringing stories to life. As the team lead, Dustin oversees all aspects of production and post, making this one-stop shop a seamless and fun experience for clients and creatives alike.
